Happy Late Easter Everyone!
I know this post is overdue but better late then never!
I hope you all had a lovely day and got lots of yummy chocolate. I was lucky enough to receive this bunny
Isn't he sweet! I just love his little cable knit jumper, I couldn't bare to eat him so I had him sitting up on my chest of draws watching me work and as I slowly progressed him down to the kitchen and nibbled at his feet by the time I had turned away and come back my whole family had demolished him leaving only the remeninse of his poor little bunny ears...
For Easter day itself we wandered over to visit my Grandparents and my Mummy's side of the family.
Now these occasions always make me wonder what the suitable attire to wear is, because you are visiting family so you can't look scruffy and casual but you dont want to look over dressed and too formal.
So when it boiled down to it this was my chosen choice of attire...
I chose this lovely grey and white dress from Topshop. The top is a simple T-shit type style and then it flows down into a flattering skater skirt. It has almost little flower and leaf patterns on it and it is great for a casual occasion like spending the days with friends in the summer or even making it a bit more formal by adding tights and a jacket for the winter.I bought this just over a month ago and I believe that it is still in Topshop, I will leave links to everything below... just to let you know it is A LOT nicer in person then it is on the website!
As I wanted the balance of formal and casual to see my family I teamed it with a jacket that I got for my birthday. the Biker jacket was from Urban Outfitters that I bought in the States and according to the label it was originally from a shop called 'Sound & Noise'. I am a fan of this jacket because a problem that I found with trying to buy a biker jacket was that all of the nice ones were outrageously expensive and all of the affordable ones for me were all cheap looking so when I found this one I was really happy as this one is a cotton material and so for me it was the perfect balance of looks and price, Hooray!
So that just about sums up my Easter day outfit which I spent eating hot- cross buns ( as well as a lot of creme eggs!) and spent some loving time catching up with family.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and keep a look out for my future posts I have got a couple I want to post ASAP.
Lots of love,
IBC xxx
