Hair.

1.  Anthropologie, Marbled Butterfly Clip
Clips like these are a necessity that everyone needs to own. They can create a fun half up, half down look when you want you hair down but out of your eyes. It is a life saviour on school photo days, as you know what your hair will look like throughout the day. Working with thick hair, they can also add lift to you hair when it is drying. Clips like these are essential for chucking in you bag for any out-and-about hair crisis.
2. It’s A 10, Miracle styling Serum
A styling serum which keeps its promise and does all ten things it says on the bottle: Adds shine, controls frizz, seals hair cuticles, nourishes hair, creates no build up, resists humidity, smoothes hair, protects colour, creates slip and is an alcohol free product.     A cheaper equivalent to Moroccan oil, it can be applied and styled on wet, damp or dry hair.
3. Tangle Teezer, Salon Elite.
First turned down by the Dragons from 'Dragons Den' these hairbrushes made their way into our life thanks to Boots. Now having six main models, they have revolutionised the way we look at brushing our hair creating an easier, faster and less painful start to the morning.
4. Coloursmash, hair shadow ‘Snowflake’ and set of 9
This finger applied, wash out hair colouring shadows are available in a mini 9 pack set as well as in larger shadows. They add an extra fun flare to a party that will get heads turning and are a great way to check out what the hair colour will look like on you before going all out – as well as seeing your parents reaction to you new *cough cough* permanent dyed hair.

     1. Bumble and Bumble, Surf Spray
Bumble and Bumble products are a definite treat splurge that is worth your savings. One squirt and one squirt only, to stop your hair being mistaken for straw, instantly adds texture and waves.
If you want beach hair in a bottle and cant quite afford to go to the Bahamas or splurge on this Bumble and Bumble then Toni&Guy’s salt spray is definitely worth a look at
2. GHD Straighteners,  Classic Styler, Pink Diamond Breast Cancer edition.
If your going to own a pair of straighteners then make sure they are GHD's. Heating up instantly GHD’s are the crème de la crème of straighteners. They have a tilt-able quality in the plates to make straightening and curling easily done as well as coming with a protectable case so the plates don’t get damaged when transported. Another great quality GHD's hold is that they have an arranged temperature, so that they have a quick start and reduce the damage to your hair.  Now raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer do you really need more of an excuse to buy a pair.. not including the fact they come with a case and a hair brush.. and they are pink!
3. Babyliss, Big Hair 50mm 2775u
The perfect styler for hair, Babyliss's Big Hair tool is crucial for the damp stage of drying your hair, when the verdict of what it looks like could go either way. At the push of a button the barrel rotates in both directions while blasting warm air onto your hair. It can create both curls, waves or just a slight flick at the bottom. This easy-to-use tool will make you look like you just walked out of the salon. - Just make sure your sections of hair aren't too big or they can get twisted.
4. Babyliss, pro Perfect curl MiraCurl Secret 2667U
The simplest way to have full on curls is another tool by Babyliss.
All you do is insert a tiny strand of hair making sure that the barrel is the right way from your hair and it grabs it in curls it before realising it again with a perfect curl. You can put the size of curl that you want into the setting.
If you want more of a wavy look then just brush through your curls with your fingers, to avoid frizz.

1.Hot Tools 1-1/4 Barrel, Professional Spring Iron for large, loose curls, MODEL 1110         People with more practice with curling, this styler gives you more control over the curls you want.
2. Bleach London, Hair Colour ‘Rosé’
Bleach London is a hair salon in London, responsible for the coloured dip dye trend, it has died the locks of many a celebrity and thankfully for us it has now brought out its very own line available for us in Boots. If your going to do something to your hair then be sure to get your hands on them whether in bottle form of in the flesh at the salon.
3.  Moroccan Oil Treatment
Slightly more on the pricey sides of hair products, Moroccan oil is hands down the product that produces the best results. Leaving your hair in perfect condition it is great for coloured hair, normal hair, dry hair and provides great protection against heat when you are drying or styling your hair. If you are unwilling to splurge quite so much money straight away then I recommend buying the smaller bottle, which is also perfect for travelling, before you fall in love with it. – your hair life will change! But don't worry you can thank me later!
4. Toni&Guy, Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner for Normal Hair.
Shampoo and conditioner is something for best results you should change on a regular basis. Toni&Guy’s hair care range produces the best affordable products. It leaves your hair looking and feeling silky smooth as well as smelling amazing, costing only £5.99 and looking far more expensive.

Making 2014 YOUR year

Good-bye 2013, Hello 2014! Although there have been many a post on the new year I felt that I would now also contribute to this and add my two cents on how I will be attempting to survive 2014 and make it a bit more than an average year. Here are a few of my resolutions and a step guide to make things bearable.

1. SMILE.
The aim here is to smile through the bad things as well as the good, to try and be more positive and see the good side such: well at least I will never have to re-live that moment again.
It is a scientific fact, (I’m pretty sure!) that if you smile even when you realllyyy don’t want to then it tricks the mind into thinking your happy and after a while you will forget that this is a fake smile and you will start to enjoy yourself a little bit more.
When you smile at someone it might make someone’s day a bit better, so pass on the joy and after a while you will really start to notice the difference with your friends and your life. As smiling, fake smiling regardless, and being happy is the sort of person people want to be around.

2. We make our own HAPPINESS.
All though many a situation may be out of our control - especially at school, this year something that will help you propel yourself through the river is by taking something into your own hands. If you love acting then join an acting school and DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE to get you through those tough times and to keep you motivated as well as happier.
It doesn't have to be something big but even taking 5 minutes at the end of your day, perhaps at bed time, to have a little 'you' time to take care of number one by just perhaps reading a magazine or something that will distract you and make you smile.

3. Make it a GOOD DAY. Harder said then done! But we all have those days where the moment they are over we are so happy but as soon as the night before rolls on the dreaded idea of the next day is the worst thing in the world.
So, for those days where there seems to be little sunshine and just horrible thing after horrible thing in stead of dreading this day try and make it one day that you like instead. Make it your new day where you approach the day with a positive attitude and try and make it your favourite day.
Whether this means it is your favourite day because at break maybe you buy your self a hot chocolate as well as a muffin, leave yourself treats throughout the day to make it enjoyable.

4. Stay ORGANISED.
When you stay organised and on top of your work it makes your life so much more bearable. It means that you are less stressed and can really enjoy yourself when your finished. It creates clear lines and boundaries enabling you to know where you stand and whether you are doing work, schoolwork, exams or anything else the ability to stay organised is something that we should all perceiver in order to make our life easier.

There are many other things that I could go on to say about making 2014 a little bit better for all of us but at the end of the day we make our own happiness so lets start TODAY and take things into our own hands.
Making our own sadness is easy but it is important to perceiver and so if you are one of those people who struggles, I think everyone is, then just use these 4 baby steps to try and make everything a bit better for yourself.
Everything is easier said then done and although all of things become daunting lets make 2014 OUR year.

Start doing something you love today.

And remember everyone is going through there own battle, whether you know it or not.
