Secrets Of A Girl Having Fun... Swapping Places

If I said I wasn't loving this snow I would by lying; The extent to how much I love snow is probably the same amount that I love chocolate...and that's a lot! Im the equivalent to a six year old playing In the snow: I seem to remember that one year I even put a snowball In the freezer to stop it thawing-  however you can imagine my disappointment when it turned straight to ice the next day and I was simply left playing in the winter wonderland of my imagination.
But the truth is that if I could swap places with this dog right now then I totally would, I love the way how it seems to have no care literally taking life as it come as he, or she, lets their hair down soaking up the sun rays while we are here adding another jumper to our already many layers.
I took this photo when I was in San Francisco last and I am pretty sure that the weather is still deliciously yummy - with a sprinkle of wind granted but compared to us right now San Francisco is like the desert! Ok we'll not quite, I am exaggerating if that's not plain to see but this is Easter, really? Is Easter supposedly not the time when children are suppose to be running around the garden with pretty little Easter dresses hunting for pastel coloured eggs that the Easter bunny has distributed and not trying to shovel the snow from the garden to see the bushed that are suppose to exist -let along hide a chocolate egg in it.  Could we really be faced with the coldest March for fifty years! I struggle to realise that this time last year we were having the hottest March in a very long time and this year it is the complete opposite - come on England I'm all for change but make your mind up. I can't decide what my wardrobe should look like. I just bought the most amazing fluorescent orange lace skirt from where else but Topshop! But it's quite hard to pretend your not freezing when your standing in a couple of inches of snow with a bit of lace not even covering your knees.
I know that it's good to shake things up a bit and even with drinks its actually a necessity but in order for us to not get that horrible residue left at the bottom and leaving our legs a but chilly, in the future it would be much appreciated if you could give us due warning please weather so we can get our winter wardrobe up to scratch.. Thanks weather, much appreciated.
I'm just trying to remember where I put my scarfs! I got ready for summer far too quickly this year!

Lots of Love

Secrets Of A Girl Having Fun.. A Deceitful Rainbow

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Why is it that revision must be so deathly dull?
Gone are the days of Easter bunnies with baskets overfilling with pastel coloured eggs and instead are the days of overspilling books and revision..
The satisfaction of starting your revision and buying all new stationary is indescribable: you go to WHSmiths and buy folders, brightly coloured felt tips, that pen that you didn't really need but has a luminous coloured ink so you just can't help yourself. But sadly when you get down to doing the actually work you realise that you have actually just been deluding yourself for all of this time and despite your best effort to try and make the follow gruelling process of cramming in an unnatural amount of information into my, what seems at time to be, a pea like brain the truth is revision just isn't fun. You can try and buy all of the colours of folders under the sun and decorate your folders but the moment of actually reciting that information - no that just can't be made fun or easy, both necessary qualities for survival.
You just have too keep pushing forward until that moment when you can throw down that pen, stretch your legs and run into that much deserved summer which at moments like these you wondered if they would ever come.

Right now....Summer can't be any sooner!
